Basic Camp (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) $500

The standard camp includes all tutorials, lectures, games, lunch, and drinks. It is both for beginners and advanced students. If you are a returning student and would like to talk about customizing your curriculum, drop us an email.

The camp is for kids 10-18 and during the week the kids work in teams (separated according to age groups) and develop a game design. At the end of the week each team presents their game idea to a panel of industry professionals and receive feedback and input on their game concept. Each day is a different theme: Art/Programming/Production/Design/Audio etc. Each day a professional in that day's focused area delivers a general lecture over that area of game development.

Students enrolled in the Basic Camp are more than welcome to attend the Friday Pizza Party for an additional $25.

The extended camp offers all the perks of the Basic Camp, along with so much more. Kids enrolled in the Advanced Camp have additional one on one time with instructors and lab leaders. They also have more flexibility in what areas of game development they'd like to focus on.

The overnight camp at Nicholls State is for students interested in a little more intense GameCamp! We prefer returning students but we allow new students to interview for acceptance to the overnight camps. Everything is included in the price EXCEPT transportation. This is a special service for students and parents that want greater depth about careers in the game industry. It includes personalized service for assisting students in choosing the right university, academic courses and game development tools. Our knowledge of the game industry allow us to give students and parents insider advice and direction about how students can maximize their opportunities for a game career.
